Hello everybody,
I just found out that I've been accepted into Texas Tech University in Lubbock! I will be entering for the Fall 2014 semester as an English major. As I've mentioned before, I am heading off to major in English and get an all-level teaching certification. I will be minoring in horticulture and rooming with my best friend (and future PhD plant geneticist) Monica; who you've probably heard some about anyway, since Midnight's Song wouldn't be the same without her. She's also one of the only people in the world right now who has read the book in its entirety and probably the only person whose seen it in its earliest and rawest forms beside myself. I owe her a lot.
I'm so excited I can't contain myself! Ahhhsjkhkdjhkdjgkdsjlgajgfkdsjnkfnksgkdjgskjfkasmf,mnvkfngkjdngksjdfksdjflsakfnsdmvnmdf

On another note, I will probably end up marrying a cowboy now. Did Prince Aurelian ever herd cows in his time hiding among us humans? There's no way to know...no way to know! But, perhaps "together, we will find out." - Aurelian (sort of paraphrased, since I'm just quoting from memory here since I'm too lazy to have the book right here).
I would not be surprised if Monica and I end up writing a series of novels together in college. We also have made plans to rent a townhome my Sophomore year so that I can have a dog and she can have a python. She made a good point too, that snakes shouldn't be feared - because Satan was not actually a snake, but a lizard. (He did have his legs taken away, after all. And then there's that creepy lizard man from The Amazing Spider-Man. Oh, that Andrew Garfield...)
Anyway, it only makes sense that we should fear lizards instead.
I am so excited for this...I can't do anything but keep on repeating how excited I am.
See you later loves!

Adventures in...Stuff.
Hello Loves,
It's been quite a while, I know. It's finally the New Year! I can't believe it! Well, I couldn't believe it about a month ago...now it's almost February. Now I'm sort of used to it.
I know, I'm hopeless. I'm going on a month and five days without posting a single blog. I guess it doesn't matter much, seeing that I'm sure not many people read this. I still love blogging. Love it, I tell you!
Over the last month or so I've been adventuring into the realm of college applications. I have one rejection already. Still, that was hasty compared to the rejections I've been receiving for Midnight's Song. I send out my queries in August and am just now getting my pile of rejections. On a more positive note, I have lots more colleges accepting me than have denied me at this point. *Phew* The choice is in my hands. Or, rather, God's.
I've been looking for a college with a great creative writing program. It's already sort of a given that I'll be doing English. Hopefully I can get a Bachelor's in English with a focus in creative writing as well as a teaching certification. As far as minors go, I know I should probably do something in music - probably voice. But, I also have an immense passion for horticulture. I'm not joking when I say that I sometimes relate better to plants than to certain people.
(Note that I can only relate to them better than *certain* people. I'm not completely antisocial).
Double minor in voice and horticulture? If I like studying in college that much, sure.
Anyways, that's the news I have for today. Comment to let me know that you exist!
