Aren't they beautiful? Seriously! I'm floored! These are awesome!
1. Midnight's Song - Creator: Keely Victoria (Me) - This is a cover I created a few months ago for my novel. I have made a special image for use on Wattpad, though it is essentially the same as the image on my novel and eBook, minus some sizing changes. I made it using Ribbet (awesome editing tool) and with a royalty-free stock photo I purchased on dreamstime.com. It looks to be a glowing lily if you study it, making it perfect for the cover in many respects. Though, it's status as an official cover is up in the air. My mom (a photographer) has wanted to do the cover image for a very long time.
2. Almost Immortal - Creator: Pikimonchu - This cover really caught my eye because there is so much action going on. The details seem so magical, and the creator said they took inspiration from my book description so that she could make it reflect the plot. That just made me so giddy : )
3. Heart of Stone - Creator: Chinuhat - This cover is so whimsical, I just love it. It's like it speaks what my book is about in a really artistic way. It's just really cool, eye popping, and I love it.
4. Almost Immortal - Creator: Z_L_Cole - I love this cover so much, because it is really magical and simple at the same time. It incorporates all of the things I asked for in a really cool way. Z_L_Cole was my first reply to a thread on the Wattpad boards, and she jumped right in to make me this beautiful cover. She's helped me a lot on the board, so I can't go without giving her a proper thanks!
5. Heart of Stone - Creator: Say_Watt_ - Amazing! Say_Watt_ was the first person to respond with a cover when I asked for one for Heart of Stone. It really gets to the point, so people really do understand both the implied and can later connect that to the metaphorical meanings of the book. Seriously, well done! And thank you!
6. Heart of Stone - Creator: Chinuhat - This is the first of the two covers that I was given from Chinuhat. I had a really hard time choosing because they both reflected this story so well in their own ways. I really love how this one incorporates the elements of the statues and the search, along with the mysterious man into the picture. Thank you Chinuhat!
I <3 Wattpad! If you do not have an account, you need to make one! There you can read millions of stories 100% free! You can read my stories, and you can read the first 11 chapters of Midnight's Song for FREE! So, what are you waiting for? Click the widget on the top of the page or click on any of the tabs that say Wattpad or have links to my stories. They should take you there.
In other news, I've finished my first attempt at a trailer for Midnight's Song! Please view it, like it, and share it with others! And be sure to follow this blog! I will post links to the trailer again in the future. Giving this it's own blog would probably make it easier to access.
(I have to do a happy dance. I just inserted the trailer via HTML and it worked. I am no computer whiz, but I'm getting there. Well, got to go. It's 1:30 in the morning)!
